PUBLIC NOTICE Pursuant to 42 C.F.R. ? 447.205, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) is required to give public notice of any significant proposed change in its methods and standards for setting payment rates for services. INPATIENT HOSPITAL SERVICES The OHCA is proposing the following changes: Payment Adjustment for Hospitals Experiencing a Significant Volume Decrease: Effective on or after April 1, 2012, OHCA will provide for continuing a payment adjustment to a qualifying Medicaid DRG hospital in Tulsa County for periods during which the hospital experiences or has experienced a significant decrease in Medicaid revenue due to circumstances beyond its control. These circumstances are and were due to a change in management and control of this facility. Any adjustment will be made on a quarterly basis after review of the financial situation at the facility and the sources of state funds. The maximum annual payment will not exceed $34 million ($12.3 million in state funds). The estimated annual cost at this time will be $15 million ($5.4 million in state funds). This proposed rate change will be presented at a Tribal Policy Consultation that will be held at the Oklahoma Health Care Authority offices on March 06th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. CST and at a Board Meeting that will be held at the Oklahoma Health Care Authority offices on March 08th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. CST at the below address.
