Clemson cancels football series with Oklahoma State
The Tigers and Cowboys were set to play a home-and-home series in 2019 and 2020.
Because of the ACC's move to a nine-game conference football schedule, Clemson has dropped a future home-and-home series with Oklahoma State, the Anderson (S.C.) Independent-Mail reported.

The Tigers and Cowboys were tentatively set to play in 2019 and 2020, Clemson athletic director Terry Don Phillips told the newspaper. But the Tigers will be playing nine league games by then, forcing Clemson to shuffle its nonconference schedule.
Phillips told the Independent-Mail that paperwork has been sent to Oklahoma State to cancel the series, and that OSU “understands.”
“The paperwork has been sent so they didn't get their schedule in a bind, held up at the last minute,” Phillips told the newspaper. “We're working through that.”
