โ€” A Cleveland County sheriff's deputy Thursday arrested an Oklahoma City man wanted on a murder warrant out of California.

Guillermo William Delgado, 54, is being held at the Cleveland County jail, sheriff's spokeswoman Meghan McCormick said.

The deputy pulled over a pickup with a cracked windshield near NW 27 and Shields in Moore.

Delgado was the driver. Dispatchers alerted the deputy that Delgado's driver's license expired in April 1994, McCormick said.

Delgado was arrested on a complaint of operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license. But when his fingerprints were entered into the Automated Fingerprint Identification System, it revealed the murder warrant.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement placed a detainer on Delgado, McCormick said.
