Cleveland County Health Department offers back-to-school shots
The Cleveland County Health Department is offering back-to-school immunization clinics through Aug. 21. Most shots are free.
Back-to-school shots are being offered at the Norman and Moore offices of the Cleveland County Health Department beginning Wednesday.
The Norman office at 250 12th Ave. NE and the Moore office at 424 S Eastern will offer immunization clinics between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through Aug. 21.
Parents and guardians should check their children's immunization records to be certain they are current for the upcoming school year, Administrative Director Shari Kinney said.
Various shots are due by certain ages, and booster or additional shots often are required for older children, teens and college students. Most immunizations for school-age children are free.
For more information, call the Norman office at 321-4048 or the Moore office at 794-1591.
