Cloudy skies Thursday with more chances for rain in central Oklahoma

More rain is possible Thursday in central Oklahoma. Clouds and cool weather will stick around.

Thursday will be cloudy with temperatures in the mid 50s as a system of precipitation stays in the Sooner state a little longer.

Temperatures are expected to warm up to the 70s Friday.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday: A chance of rain showers, snow, and sleet before 7 a.m. then a chance of rain showers between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 55. North, northwest wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Thursday night: Areas of fog after 4 a.m. Otherwise mostly clear with a low around 40. North wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Friday: Areas of fog before 11 a.m. Sunny with a high near 70. South wind 7 to 13 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 53. South wind 13 to 16 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 76. South, southwest wind 11 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.
