North, northwest winds are bringing colder air to Oklahoma Thursday, the National Weather Service reports.

There is a chance for rain Friday and Saturday. The high temperature Thursday will be near 75 degrees. The high temperature Saturday will be near 53 degrees.

The central Oklahoma forecast is as follows:

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 75. South wind 6 to 11 mph becoming north, northwest in the afternoon.

Thursday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 53. North wind 11 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Friday: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a high near 60. North, northeast wind 15 to 21 mph with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a low around 42. North, northeast wind 17 to 22 mph with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Cloudy with a high near 53. North, northeast wind 16 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 38.

Sunday: Partly sunny with a high near 60.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 42.

Columbus Day: Mostly sunny with a high near 69.

Monday night: Mostly clear with a low around 51.
