Wednesday will be cooler in central Oklahoma with a brisk north, northwest wind, the National Weather Service reports.

Wind chill factors in the Oklahoma City area are in the single digits Wednesday morning. The Oklahoma City wind chill at 5 a.m. was 4 degrees.

High temperatures will stay in the 30s all day.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 36. North wind 11 to 16 mph becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 23. West, southwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south in the evening.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 54. Southwest wind 7 to 13 mph becoming east, southeast in the morning.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 41. Windy with a south, southeast wind 11 to 16 mph increasing to 21 to 26 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph.
