TULSA — After Oklahoma State clinched the outright Big 12 baseball title Friday night with a 2-1 walk-off win over Oklahoma, Cowboys coach Joshlooked down the table at Saxon, his senior , and shook his head.

Saxon came up with several big catches in the outfield before his infield single in the ninth set off a celebration that left Saxon covered in shaving cream as the Cowboys celebrated their first regular-season title in Big 12 history in front of a sold-out crowd of 8,391 at ONEOK Field.
Oklahoma State won this one much like it had done all year, with timely hitting, solid defense, strong arms and a consistent sense of composure.
Even after normally unshakeable reliever Vincegave up the tying run in the eighth, never wavered on OSU finding a way.
“Our team owed it to him to score that run,”said. “That kid has pitched so good, so good that I just knew those kids would find a way to score because that’s what teammates do.”
