Zach Fish and Dustin Williams hit home runs, and six Oklahoma State players had multi-hit games Sunday as the Cowboys hammered Kansas State 17-5 in Big 12 baseball before 1,854 fans at Tointon Stadium in Manhattan, Kan.

The No. 7-ranked Cowboys (38-13 overall, 16-5 Big 12) completed a three-game sweep. OSU scored in every inning Sunday — including nine runs in the fifth — but two. Fish finished with three hits and five RBIs. He also scored twice.

Williams and Tanner Krietemeier added three RBIs each.

OSU throttled Kansas State starting pitcher Nate Griep for seven runs on eight hits in just 3 2/3 innings. The bullpen didn’t fare much better as the Wildcats fell to 24-28 and 4-17.

The Cowboys will try to stretch their win streak to 10 games at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday against Oral Roberts at Reynolds Stadium in Stillwater. It will be the final regular-season home game for OSU.

No. 10-ranked TCU took control early and whipped fading Oklahoma 9-1 Sunday in a Big 12 baseball game at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth. A crowd of 3,485 saw the Horned Frogs chase OU starter Adam Choplick, who was credited with one inning pitched; he gave up four runs on four hits and walked two.

TCU (36-14 overall, 15-6 Big 12) added five runs in the fourth inning against Robert Tasin, the second of four relievers to throw for the Sooners (27-25, 7-14).

Frogs pitcher Tyler Alexander was exceptional. He threw eight innings, allowing one run on five hits. Alexander walked non and struck out three.

The Sooners’ only run came in the fourth inning on Sheldon Neuse’s sixth homer of the year.

OU next plays 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dallas Baptist.
