Oklahoma's pitching staff struggled for one of the few times this season as Baylor came back for a 12-10 Big 12 baseball victory before 2,787 fans at Baylor Ballpark.

Baylor (19-17 overall, 7-4 Big 12) scored eight runs over the seventh and eighth innings after falling behind 9-4. Three OU pitchers — starter Adam Choplick and relievers Billy Waltrip and Jacob Evans — all surrendered four runs.

Craig Aikin and Hunter Haley each had three hits for the Sooners (28-8, 8-4). Haley hit his second home run of the season.

OU next plays 3 p.m. Tuesday, the first game of a doubleheader against Arkansas-Little Rock at Mitchell Park in Norman.

TCU STUNS COWBOYS

A three-run double by pinch-hitter Brett Johnson lifted TCU to a 3-2 Big 12 baseball win over Oklahoma State on Sunday at Lupton Stadium in Fort Worth. The Horned Frogs (16-20 overall, 5-7 Big 12) were down to their final two outs when Johnson ripped a game-winning double over the head of center fielder Jarrett Higgins.

OSU (24-10, 5-6) had a strong start from pitcher Tyler Nurdin, who was looking for his first career victory. The left-hander threw 71/3 innings of scoreless baseball. Nurdin struck out seven and surrendered just five hits.

Oklahoma State next plays Tuesday at Missouri State in Springfield.
