BUCKEYES SINK SOONERS
Oklahoma led early, but Ohio State came back for a 6-3 win Sunday in the final game of the UCF Classic in Orlando, Fla.
OU (5-3) led 1-0 after the first inning, but the Buckeyes took the lead for good with a three-run fourth. Troy Kuhn and Pat Porter each scored two runs for Ohio State (5-2), which also had two-hit games from Porter, Jacob Bosiokovic and Tim Wetzel.
Ohio State starter Zach Farmer threw 51/3 innings, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks. Preseason All-American Trace Dempsey notched his second save.
Craig Aikin, Hunter Haley and Taylor Alspaugh had the only hits for OU, which lost its second consecutive game. The Sooners will play Manhattan on Thursday at the Sanderson Ford College Classic in Surprise, Ariz.
