College basketball: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State prepare their NCAA resumes
Both the Sooners and Cowboys have a chance this week to improve their cases for inclusion in the NCAA Tournament, breaking a drought for each.
Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are ready for a return to March Madness.
Much work has already been done, with only a bit more résumé building remaining to enhance NCAA Tournament seeding, and in turn, potentially set up an extended stay.

And what a week it is to pad the résumé, with both teams playing the favorites in their two games.
The Cowboys travel to last-place TCU on Wednesday, before returning to Gallagher-Iba Arena to face scuffling Texas on Saturday.
The Sooners visit those same Longhorns Wednesday, before taking on a revenge mode Saturday against Iowa State at Lloyd Noble Center. The Cyclones beat OU earlier in Ames.
Already, the résumés for the Cowboys and Sooners appear solid, especially for two teams seeking admittance back into the NCAA Tournament. OSU hasn't been since 2010; the Sooners since 2009.
“It's an exciting feeling, just to be mentioned with something like (the NCAA Tournament),†said Cowboys sophomore forward Michael Cobbins. “The past couple years that we've been here, we haven't been able to bless it with our appearance. But hopefully this year we can make that happen.â€
Said OU forward Romero Osby: "We want to get to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in a while and get as far as we can. We want to start a legacy for years to come.â€
March Madness awaits.
