College football: Central Oklahoma, Northeastern State ranked low in MIAA preseason polls

Central Oklahoma and Northeastern Oklahoma State were picked by media and coaches to finish in the lower half of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association this football season.

The poll released Monday has UCO selected by media to finish 11th in the league and 10th by coaches. Media chose Northeastern State to finish 10th and coaches selected the RiverHawks for 11th. Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri were picked by coaches to tie for the conference championship; media chose Northwest Missouri to win the MIAA outright.
