Don't expect to see a mid-major crack the BCS bowl lineup this season. The top five mid-majors through six weeks of the college football season:
1. Ohio 6-0: Beat Penn State but still hasn't cracked the AP top 25. And the coaches have the Bobcats ranked 31st.
2. Louisiana Tech 5-0: Victories over Illinois and Virginia. Now gets Texas A&M.
3. Boise State 4-1: Beat Brigham Young but lost tight at Michigan State.
4 Tulsa 6-1: Good win over Fresno State, but loss at Iowa State will keep TU down.
5. Louisiana-Monroe 3-2: Tight losses to Baylor & Auburn. Began Arkansas' demise.
