College football: Notre Dame on upset alert vs. Michigan

Notre Dame is resurgent. The Irish defense has been superb in victories over Navy (50-10), Purdue (20-17) and Michigan State (20-3).

But Saturday, Notre Dame faces a different kind of opponent. Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson.

Alabama put the shackles on Robinson, but Notre Dame hasn't. The Wolverines have won three straight from the Irish, and Robinson has gone wild in two of those games.

2011: Michigan won 38-35. Robinson threw for 338 yards and rushed for 108.

2010: Michigan won 28-24. Robinson threw for 244 yards and rushed for 258.

Notre Dame is a 6 1/2-point favorite, but go with Michigan in the upset.
