The Oklahoman's Week 2 state college football power poll:

1. Southwestern (2-0): Defense faces toughest test yet at Southern Arkansas.

2. East Central (1-1): Tigers hope to remain unbeaten at home.

3. Southeastern (1-1): Ball control essential against Henderson State.

4. Central Oklahoma (0-2): At least the offense is fun to watch.

5. Bacone (2-1): After Lamar game, Warriors might run the table.

6. Langston (0-2): Another month before first home game.

7. Northeastern (0-2): Probably better than No. 7 ranking.

8. Oklahoma Baptist (0-3): Still say Bison will win some games.

9. Panhandle State (1-2): Stiff challenge this week at Montana.

10. Southern Nazarene (0-2): NCAA Division II growing pains.

11. Northwestern (0-2): Averaging just 190.5 yards of offense.
