College football: Virginia's Mike London on the hot seat?

Virginia football once was decent.

The Cavaliers were the first ACC team to beat Florida State in conference play, after 29 straight Seminole victories. Virginia went to 14 bowl games in the 17 seasons from 1989-2005.

But Virginia has just one winning season since 2007, and Mike London’s program seems to be getting worse, going 4-8 in 2012 and 2-10 in 2013.

Saturday, the Cavs host UCLA and are huge underdogs.

London is a popular figure. He grew up in Virginia and was a Richmond police officer before pursuing a coach career. But he might not have his job much longer if the Cavs don’t show improvement.
