Best thing about being a college athlete? Just the whole college experience. The football games. The friends. Everything that goes on on a college campus.

Worst thing about being a college athlete? Just the time management. I don’t think people really understand just how difficult it is to manage practice and school and everything that you have to do.

Do you feel like you miss out on things? I think sometimes we may miss out on a few things, but in the long run, it’s good for us to be able to be focused on what we need to do to get our jobs done.

If you weren’t playing sports in college, what would you do with all that free time? We talk about that all the time, how most students have all the time to study and just relax and go to the student life center and just hang out. And I’d get a lot more sleep.

How do you manage your studies when you’re on the road? We’ve got a great academic advisor. She gets us set for everything we have to do and everything we have to turn in. We do that on the airplanes and buses and hotels.

Easy to study on a bus? It’s not really easy with all the players on there. You see a lot of people with their headphones on, trying to drowned out some of that noise.
