"When you work as closely as a coaching staff does, you develop some really deep and solid friendships,” Mike Cavanaugh said in a statement released by the school. "I guess you could say this is the ultimate in friendship.”
Langsdorf was one of 18 people who were tested for compatibility for a donor match for Laurie Cavanaugh, who suffers from an inherited disorder, autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease.
