Known as “Powered by ONE,” the mobile lab includes interactive displays and exhibits that explain natural gas production, transportation and storage. The facility also includes a history of ONEOK and details on its various properties and assets. Interactive games allow people to simulate laying natural gas pipelines.

“Our mobile exhibit is used to educate and inform our key stakeholders in the public on who we are and what we do in the energy industry,” said Terri Pirtle, executive director of the ONEOK Foundation.

The truck runs on four tanks that hold nearly 60 gallons of gasoline equivalent, which provide electricity and heating and air conditioning for eight to 10 hours.

ONEOK began using the custom truck last year. It has since been used at colleges, universities and events throughout the company's 17-state service territory, Pirtle said.
