NORMAN — Keilani Ricketts set a pair of school records Sunday during No. 1-ranked Oklahoma's 12-0 rout of Iowa State in Big 12 softball.

Ricketts threw a fifth career no-hitter to set one school record — and it was her fourth of the season to set another school mark. Both previous records were held by Lauren Eckermann.

On Sunday, Ricketts struck out 10 and walked two during the five-inning game, which ended early due to the mercy rule. In fact, the Sooners swept the three game series — and all ended by run-rule. OU (43-3 overall, 11-1 Big 12) outscored the Cyclones (19-29, 4-11) 44-1 in just 15 innings.

“I feel like we are starting to play some really good softball,” OU coach Patty Gasso said. “We came out every game just really bringing it. I feel like we are all on the same page. Everyone is really starting to get their game.”

Ricketts also led OU hitters Sunday. She collected two hits, including a home run, and two RBIs.

The Sooners next play 2 p.m. Friday vs. Kansas in Lawrence.
