Oklahoma’s 14-game win streak ended with Sunday’s 8-6 Big 12 softball loss to Baylor before 1,102 fans at Getterman Stadium.

After the teams combined for 11 runs over the first-four innings, Baylor took the lead for good with a three-run sixth inning against Kelsey Stevens, the last of four pitchers used by the Sooners. Whitney Canion, the last of three pitchers used by Baylor, held the defending national champions scoreless on no hits and no walks the final 11/3 innings.

Kaitlyn Thumann and Ari Hawkins led Baylor (30-9 overall, 4-3 Big 12) with two hits apiece. Hawkins hit her third homer of the season.

Kady Self and Destinee Martinez had two hits for Oklahoma (32-9, 9-1). Whitney Ellis added a two-run triple.

OU next plays 8 p.m. Thursday against Texas at Marita Hynes Stadium in Norman.

Brittany Lee slugged two home runs and finished with four RBIs on Sunday, leading Texas Tech to an 11-3 Big 12 softball rout over Oklahoma State before 351 fans at Rocky Johnson Field. Gretchen Aucoin added a three-run homer for the Red Raiders, who improved to 30-15 overall and 3-6 in the league.

OSU (23-18, 3-7) never led in the game. The Cowgirls trailed 10-0 after three innings. Although OSU scored three times in the top of the fourth, Texas Tech answered with a run in the bottom of the inning, and then starting pitcher Aucoin capped a five-inning complete game.

Aucoin allowed six hits and no walks while striking out three.
