College softball: Simone Freeman throws no-hitter, OSU wins five tournament games

Oklahoma splits against Michigan State and Washington. The national champion Sooners lose fourth game of the season, matching last year's total.

OU (6-4) managed just three hits against Washington (10-0), including two from Jessica Vest.

Shelby Pendley finished with four hits, including three against Michigan State. She scored three times on the day and added two RBIs. Brittany Williams had two hits and five RBIs against the Spartans (2-5).

Oklahoma will play in the Mary Nutter Classic next weekend in Palm Springs, Calif. The Sooners are scheduled to play Boise State at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
