COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled forward Jonathan Marchessault from the American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons.

The team also said Wednesday it was placing forward Matt Calvert on injured reserve for an upper body injury retroactive to December 21.

The team also added forward Ryan Craig to the roster on emergency recall following Tuesday's loss in Denver to the Colorado Avalanche.

The 23-year-old Marchessault has appeared in 31 games with Springfield this season and currently leads the Falcons in goals (12), assists (14) and points (26).

The 24-year-old Calvert has gone 4-4-8 in 17 games with Columbus this season.
