Smith and Mowins will call the first two games Thursday, and Mowins and Mendoza will do the two night games, including top-seeded OU's game against Michigan at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
Mowins, Mendoza and Smith will call the best-of-three finals series June 3-5.
— ESPN's coverage of the NCAA baseball tournament, including all 16 regional sites for the first time, will begin Friday. The first round — up to 112 games over four days — will include a new “Bases Loaded” platform, which will provide cut-ins and highlights from numerous games and commentary from ESPN analysts. OU's opening game with Coastal Carolina at noon Friday and OSU's opener against Miami at 1 p.m. Friday both will be webcast on ESPN3.
— ESPN will mark its 20th year of the Scripps National Spelling Bee on ESPN with 14 live hours of competition across three networks — ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN3 — from 7 a.m. Wednesday through 9 p.m. Thursday.
— Fox's Saturday baseball package moves to 6 p.m. Saturday for the next several weeks. KOKH-25 will air San Francisco at St. Louis this week. The ESPN “Sunday Night Baseball” game is Boston at N.Y. Yankees at 7 p.m. Sunday.
— Beginning in August, SEC expert Paul Finebaum will join ESPN Inc. with a daily radio show and a variety of appearances across ESPN platforms from ESPN's Charlotte, N.C., studios. Then starting in August 2014, when the SEC Network launches, a television simulcast of Finebaum's radio show will anchor the afternoon lineup.
