Oklahoma-bred comedian Argus Hamilton will headline a special engagement presented by Tech 5000 productions at The Yellow Rose Theater in Moore at 6 p.m. on April 13.
Named “The Official Comedian of the Centennial” by former Gov. Brad Henry in 2007 and called “The Will Rogers of the Baby Boom” by Robin Williams, the Oklahoma-born nationally syndicated columnist and host comedian at The Comedy Store will headline a dinner show that also features Oklahoma City comic Stan Silliman and Kelly “Dr. K” Flanagan.
Through corporate comedy and Hollywood, Hamilton has perpetuated a comedy career that started with a humor column in the University of Oklahoma's The Oklahoma Daily that earned him a sideline pass from Barry Switzer at Sooner football games, was fueled by his tenure as a writer for the TV series “Laugh In” and led to more than 30 appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.”
Tickets can be purchased at ticketstorm.com or by calling (866) 966-1577.
The purchase price includes dinner at 6 p.m. followed by a show starting at 7.
