ENID -- For the first time in decades, Enid's historic downtown soon may have a new hotel.
City officials have signed a contract with LodgeWell Group LLC to build a 131-room Hilton Garden Inn and parking garage near the city's new Enid Event Center and Convention hall.
The plans are to incorporate the facade of the old Kress Building into the design.
