Choirs set concert

The Concert Choir, Chamber Singers and Symphonic Community Choir of Oklahoma City Community College will perform the final concert of the semester at 7 p. m. May 8 in the Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater. Admission is free. For more information, contact Ron Staton at rstaton@occc.edu.

Show to feature irises

— The annual Norman Iris Show will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Lowry Room of the Norman Public Library, 225 N Webster Ave. The free event is co-sponsored by the library and the Norman Area Iris Society. The show will feature a variety of colorful iris displays, as well as tips for would-be gardeners on growing irises and gardening, in general. Touch-a-truck offered

— Edmond Electric and the city’s Vehicle Maintenance are co-hosting the Edmond Touch-A-Truck from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 17 in the University of Central Oklahoma parking lot off Second Street. Touch-A-Truck is a fundraising event that provides kids with the opportunity to experience life-size vehicles and interact with police officers, firemen and construction workers. Families can explore fire trucks, police cars, an Edmond Electric bucket truck and a solid waste truck. Admission for the Touch-A-Truck event is a suggested $2 donation with the proceeds going to the Edmond Hope Center. For more information, call 216-7671 or email michelle.gumaer@edmondok.com.
