Specialists in Medicare, Social Security and investing are coming together to offer a community class for seniors 9 a.m. to noon May 16 at Francis Tuttle, 12777 N Rockwell Ave.

“We want to give people an overview of basic knowledge, and a place to stick up their hand and say what they're not sure about,” said Linda Clure, a licensed independent insurance agent who worked several years as a Medicare specialist with the state health department.

“Lack of knowledge gets people in situations where they don't know what to do,” Clure said.
