EDMONDUniversity of Central Oklahoma students will have more carpool and rideshare options, thanks to a new partnership between the school’s Office of Commuter Student Services and Association of Central Oklahoma Governments, which will merge the school’s GreenRide with Oklahoma City’s GetAroundOK.

GetAroundOK provides incentives including instant carpool matches based on user preferences, a way to track commutes for positive environmental impact, bike and pedestrian routes, park and ride routes and a free taxi ride home in an emergency.

To get started, go to www.GetAroundOK.com.

UCO students can still use the Web-based GreenRide application until the transition is complete.

For more information, call Box at 974-3655 or e-mail nbox@uco.edu.
