Compuware selling some units for $160 million

DETROIT (AP) — Software development company Compuware is selling its Changepoint, Professional Services and Uniface divisions to investment firm Marlin Equity Partners for $160 million.

"This development, combined with our cost-cutting initiatives, will accelerate the pace of the company's topline revenue growth and result in future profitability gains," Compuware President and CEO Bob Paul said in a statement on Wednesday.

The deal is targeted to close this month.

Shares of Compuware Corp. fell 11 cents to $11.06 in morning trading.
