Here is a summary of some of the inconsistencies between Ed Shadid's recent claims and his divorce records:

• Shadid said his invoking of the Fifth Amendment was solely about his marijuana use. Records show it was about marijuana, cocaine and pornography.

• Shadid said the only drug at issue in front of the court during his divorce proceedings was marijuana. Records show his cocaine use also came up.

• Shadid said his then wife was never physically harmed during episodes of domestic violence. She testified during the divorce he choked her and was a “rageaholic.” Records show police were called twice to their home because she was fearful.
