Contingency plan: Thunder was prepared
Four days before team chairman Clay Bennett announced a settlement would bring an NBA team to Oklahoma , Brian Byrnes was in Oklahoma City working on a contingency plan.
On June 28, Byrnes arrived in Oklahoma City to develop a bare bones telemarketing system in case U.S. District Court Jude Marsha Pechman ruled in favor of Bennett and his group following a six-day trial.
