Cool weather hangs around Friday in Oklahoma, warmer weekend ahead

Weather will be cooler than normal Friday in Oklahoma. Temperatures will be warmer for the weekend.

Unseasonably cool weather continues in Oklahoma Friday, the National Weather Service reports.

But warmer temperatures are ahead for the weekend and more summer-like days are ahead next week. The 90s return by Monday in central Oklahoma.


The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: Areas of drizzle before 10 a.m. Areas of fog before 10 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy with a high near 76. Northeast wind 5 to 7 mph.

Friday: Partly cloudy with a low around 65. East, southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south after midnight.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 86. South, southeast wind 6 to 9 mph.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70. South, southeast wind 7 to 9 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 90. South wind 10 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 75.

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 93.

Monday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 75.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 94.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 75.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 93.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 73.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 95.
