A cool, windy day is ahead in central Oklahoma Tuesday, the National Weather Service reports.

There is a slight chance for rain Tuesday night.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Tuesday: Partly sunny with a high near 67. North wind 13 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Tuesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a low around 46. North, northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light north, northwest after midnight.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 68. Light east, northeast wind becoming north 8 to 13 mph in the morning.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 45. North, northeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light and variable.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 74. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north, northwest 11 to 16 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 48.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 74.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 55.

Saturday: Partly sunny with a high near 79.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 61.
