Cooler temperatures and chances for more rain are ahead for the weekend in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 85. Light northeast wind becoming east, northeast 8 to 13 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 65. East wind 8 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Partly sunny with a high near 87. East wind 5 to 7 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind around 5 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. South wind 5 to 8 mph.

Sunday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 88.

Monday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 69.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 88.

Tuesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy with a low around 70.
