Cooler weather has arrived in Oklahoma Tuesday.

Tuesday will be sunny. There is a chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures in the 70s.

Here is a look at the Oklahoma City forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 82. North, northeast wind 9 to 13 mph.

Tuesday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 63. East wind 5 to 8 mph.

Wednesday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy with a high near 74. Southeast wind 7 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Wednesday night: Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 64. East, northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Cloudy with a high near 72. East, northeast wind 7 to 10 mph becoming north in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Thursday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 64.

Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 80.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 66.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 89.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 71.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 93.
