Three police officers in Massachusetts are walking on eggshells with their boss after they were caught egging a superior officer’s home in December.

The officers were caught by Framingham police on Dec. 11 when officers responded to a report of two teenagers throwing eggs at a residence. The men left the scene in a red car and were stopped nearby.

Both men were identified as officers, as well as a third man found at the superior officer’s home, according to Wicked Local Newton.

One of the officers admitted to egging the home. “It was a prank, a joke between friends,” he said.
