HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Gov. Tom Corbett's top public welfare official says he's searching for ways to find affordable, quality health care for Pennsylvanians.

That search will take him to Washington to meet with U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. They'll discuss whether Pennsylvania should expand Medicaid under the 2010 federal Affordable Care Act.

The meeting isn't set yet. But it'll be closely watched.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott and Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe returned to their states after meeting with Sebelius, seemingly bearing concessions.

Alan Weil of the National Academy for State Health Policy says it isn't clear whether they had to fight for those concessions, or whether Sebelius agreed precisely to get Florida and Arkansas to join the Medicaid expansion.

But it's clear she wants states to join.
