The commission is considering rule changes that would require more disclosure about financial interests, property, debts and income. The reporting rules also would be expanded to cover spousal income, directorships, clients and more.

The rules would apply to elected officials, lawmakers, district attorneys, those who serve on boards and commissions, and designated state employees.

Two more public hearings on the proposed changes are set for Nov. 20 in Tulsa and Dec 18 at the state Capitol.

Oklahoms politics and ethics have always been oxymorons...

Oklahoma politics and ethics? Is this a great state or what. I dont know that big brother has to enter here for elected officials however maybe this should pass through to show our politicians what they are doing to their citizenery. It might teach them a lesson, but well probably not, its all about the benjamins and the ever becoming corporatist/oligarchy form of government we pretty much have now. So more tax dollars wasted by our politicians and the "do gooders".
