Oklahoma County officials have approved more than $1 million in employee raises since the beginning of the year, according to an analysis of payroll records provided to The Oklahoman.

Following is a breakdown of how many raises were given in each county department since January and how much the department’s payroll increased as a result of the raises. The number of employees listed for each department is as of Aug. 31. District 1 Commissioner Willa Johnson (37 full-time employees, 3 part-time employees): 3 raises given, $1,930 per year; average raise: $643 per year District 2 Commissioner Brian Maughan (41 full-time employees): 9 raises given, $76,041 per year; average raise: $8,449 per year District 3 Commissioner Ray Vaughn (35 full-time employees, 3 part-time employees): 14 raises given, $8,645 per year; average raise: $618 per year Assessor Leonard Sullivan (74 full-time employees, 3 part-time employees): 27 raises given, $29,223 per year; average raise: $1,082 per year.
