An orange wedding
Yvonne and Scott Stuart walked down an orange aisle underneath an orange tent in orange jerseys and said "I do” two hours before kickoff Saturday evening in Stillwater.

"Now if the Pokes will just win, this will be the best day ever,” Scott said.

The Stuarts, who live in Edmond, have been tailgating in the same area — in the parking lot just southwest of the ROTC building — for years. They decided about eight months ago that when they tied the knot, they would make it a Bedlam wedding.

"It was her idea,” Scott said.

Both wore OSU jerseys (Yvonne No. 11 and Scott No. 29), and had black tape blocking out the names on the back. After they said I do, they pulled off the tape to reveal "Mr. Stuart” and "Mrs. Stuart” above the numbers.

Scott graduated from OSU in December of 1981, and Yvonne, formerly Yvonne Marsh, returned to school to finish up in 2000. The couple’s respective children, Chase and Jamie, also attended, both in orange.
