Paris is the only four-time AP All-American in women's college basketball history and holds 18 NCAA records — including a streak of 112 consecutive games with a double-double.

Angel McCoughtry of Louisville was taken by Atlanta with the first pick in the draft Thursday, followed by Marissa Coleman of Maryland to Washington; Kristi Toliver of Maryland to Chicago; and Renee Montgomery of Connecticut to Minnesota.

Dewanna Bonner of Auburn was chosen fifth by Phoenix and Briann January of Arizona State was the sixth pick by Indiana.
