We force a lot of balls Adarius' way, just because we know he's going to make plays. βWe decided to spread it around and see if some other guys would make plays and some of them stepped up.β The Cowboys took seven wide receivers to Waco. Three β Newton, Dez Bryant and Tommy Devereaux β caught passes, along with running backs Dantrell Savage and Kendall Hunter and tight end Brandon Pettigrew. OSU totaled 202 yards through the air, with Devereaux adding a scoring catch. The Cowboys also ran the ball β at will. Quarterback Zac Robinson ran for 144 yards and two touchdowns, Savage added 109 and Hunter had 77, part of a 343-yard rushing day that averaged 6.7 per carry. βIt's safe to say we imposed our will tonight,β said Fedora.
