COWETA - Little information was released Monday morning during a press conference to address gunshots hours earlier at Coweta Intermediate High School.
Officers responded within seconds to a report of "officers needed" at the school after receiving the call around 8:35 a.m., said Lt. Donnie Krumshiek with the Coweta Police Department.
Police confirmed with 2NEWS around 9 a.m. that shots were fired at the school, which remained on lock down until just before 10 a.m.
