COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Oklahoma State Cowgirls blew an 11-point lead in the last four minutes of the basketball game Wednesday night and lost 71-65 in overtime at Missouri. The Big 12 setback spoiled an excellent performance for OSU's Toni Young, who finished with 22 points and 22 rebounds.
Young added one steal and three blocks in 37 minutes of play.
RaeShara Brown led Missouri with 20 points and eight rebounds. She had four assists and six steals; she stole the ball from Young with five seconds left in regulation, spoiling OSU's chances of a clutch win.
Brown gave Missouri the lead for good with 4:09 left in OT on a 3-pointer. She scored 12 points from behind the arc.
Christine Flores added 23 points for Missouri (12-13 overall, 4-8 Big 12). She hit a game-tying 3-pointer with 1:10 left in regulation. Neither team scored again until overtime.
OSU (16-8, 3-8) plays 6 p.m. Saturday at Texas A&M.
