OSU women's basketball: Cowgirls' Brittney Martin named Big 12 freshman of the week

Oklahoma State's Brittney Martin has been named the Big 12 women's Freshman of the Week. It is the second time this season Martin has earned the honor.

On Dec. 22, Martin logged the program's first-ever triple-double, finishing with 10 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in the Cowgirls' victory at UT Arlington. Martin hit four of her nine shots from the floor and nine of her career-high 14 rebounds came at the offensive end.
Martin also tallied two blocks and five steals.
The Cowgirls will be back in action on Friday at 9 p.m. when they take on Harvard in the first round of the Surf ‘N Slam Classic in San Diego.
