Crash claims Broken Bow woman, Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports

Lenore Kay Davis, 42, of Broken Bow, was driving north on U.S. 70 in a sport utility vehicle when it struck a guardrail and overturned, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

A woman died Saturday afternoon after the sport utility vehicle she was driving overturned in McCurtain County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 1:50 p.m., Lenore Kay Davis, 42, of Broken Bow, was driving north on U.S. 70 about a half-mile south of Broken Bow when the car left the wet highway, hit a guardrail and flipped, troopers said.

Davis, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, troopers said. has disabled the comments for this article.
