Escapee's freedom has ended
An inmate who climbed out a rest room window at the Grant County jail and fled in a sheriff's department truck posed as a deputy and bought fuel using the county credit card before being captured in Arkansas early Friday.
Joshua R. Albright, 23, was in custody in Johnson County, Ark., about 60 miles east of the Oklahoma state line, said Grant County Sheriff Roland Hula.
Albright was caught about 2 a.m. after a pursuit with Arkansas state troopers and police near Clarksville, Ark.

Extradition likely for death suspect
A man wanted in connection with a hit-and-run death in Midwest City is expected to be extradited from Texas to Oklahoma within the next 30 days, police said Friday.
Torrez Ceasar, 34, was captured Thursday night after a chase with police in a Houston neighborhood.
Ceasar, of Midwest City, was wanted on a first-degree manslaughter complaint in connection with the July 9 death of Jasmine Lee, 18. Ceasar is accused of hitting Lee and her friend, RoseMary Taylor, 19, on July 8.
Law enforcement officials have been searching for Ceasar since an arrest warrant was issued for him more than a week ago.

Man faces charges in July 4 slayings
An Oklahoma City man was charged Friday with first-degree murder in connection with two July 4 slayings.
Brian Keith Madden Jr., 22, already was being held in the Oklahoma County jail for violation of probation on drug charges. He has been in jail since deputies arrested him July 9.
The case is under investigation and the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department is asking the public for help. The weapon used in the shootings has yet to be recovered. Anyone with information is asked to call 713-1017.

Suspect sought in two shootings
Police are looking for a 20-year-old man they say was involved in two drive-by shootings in Oklahoma City since late June.
Joe Pugh is wanted in connection with shootings on June 29 in the 3300 block of NE 16 and on July 15 in the 1500 block of NW 30, authorities said. One person was hurt during the June shooting; no one was hurt during the second shooting, police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said. Those who may know Pugh's whereabouts are asked to call police or Oklahoma City Crime Stoppers at 235-7300 or send a text message to (405) 415-5666.
