CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago Cubs have hired PJ Mainville as their new trainer.
He spent the past two seasons as the Arizona Diamondbacks' assistant trainer after serving as their minor league training coordinator from 2007-10.
He replaces Mark O'Neal, who will remain in the Cubs organization in a different role within the medical department. Chicago announced the hiring on Monday.
